If it is used it is fine as long as it is in good condition.

If it is new that is great as well but would light a good rate for the price like whole sale or something like that.

Since i want to upgrade and am only doing it once more because i already spent $49 dollars on the all glass one that was in the store.

I need a high enough wattage that i can have any plants i want in the future.

Petco has one that is a PC light that is 65 watts for 59.99 i think is that good or could i get more wattage for my buck some where else.

I bought the Single Satellite (36") from Drs Foster and Smith for $99, it pumps out 96W if I remember correctly.

I was going via the ahsupply route to mount the kit into an existing light strip (very old) but decided against it. I would have gotten the same amount of wattage if I did it myself so I just went with new for about the same amount of dollars I would have spent on retrofit.

the only problem is they have those special bulbs that cost 28 bucks. I wanted something more lile one that used regular bulbs just more than one so that i have a high wattage.

i have used Jebo lights of Aquatraders.com and in my expierence have never had a problem.none of the ballast burned out of me like others say happens, ive owned 3 with no problems
