I am seting up a 1900 gallon pond outside my house and am wondering what i should use for filtration and how to set that up anyone have any ideas??? By the way i am using a walmart kids pool, and am putting it in the ground i could run the filter for the pool for some added filtration but i need an actual filter that will be good for the pond, any suggestions????

I saw a post on here recently for a DIY pond filter, using a rubbermaid tub, a pump, some lava rock and scrubber pad. If you do a search for it, you will find it. I am not sure if it will be as big as you need it, but it is worth the research.

i am building a pond using a skippy filter (google it). you can also check my pond build thread. it has lots of pics and details. also the liner on that pool is probably not going to hold up well... check into something like epdm to maybe go over it...

LOL. I never even noticed that when I responded on my phone the other day. I'm not sure if I can actually see the dates on the mobile site though. Crazy.
