For cleaning the siphon tube how many parts of bleach to water to make a solution for cleaning and flushing out water ever is growing in my siphon tube without the use of a brush.

I need to have a gallon worth of the solution just enough to fill the tube and let it sit.

1 gallon of water to 20 gallons of bleach. Reduce this recipe to get your desired volumes.

1 US gallon = 3785.4ml
divided by 20 = 189.3ml
or
0.8 cups
or
12.78 tablespoons
or
38.35 teaspoons

5/8 cup of clear bleach to 1 gallon of water gives you a 10% solution .

Since you flush it clean to no chlorine smell. I use an empty gallon jug, pour in an inch of bleach, fill with water and shake. More isn't going to hurt.

Simplify it.
