I have a 10 gallon tank with a zebra danio, a platy and a silver mollie. I've had my tank for about a month. what are some stocking options?

three fish is not to much, I would add a few more zebra's
Three fish, yes. But what size will these fish grow to? Danios are not really appropriate for a ten gallon in the first place, because they need room to swim and play, they are very active fish. Mollies can get pretty big around 4-5 inches depending on the type and Platies can also get to be 2 or more inches and have a high bioload compared to smaller fish. If you stuck a gold fish in a 10 gallon would you think that that was not too much just because it was only one fish? Or maybe and oscar?
If you want to keep the danio I would get more of them, since they are a schooling fish. This way he has someone to play with.

Considering the adult size of these fish and this tank is at its limit. It may be only three fish but those three fish have the potential to even overstock such a small aquarium.

thank you both, your right! I read on dano's yesterday, they stated that you could keep 5 in a 10 gallon tank as they grow to only 2 inches long. so I assumed the 3 fish, plus 2 more would be fine. that site acually said danoi's go into a ten gallon tank size. thanks for the clarification
