For all of you out there who have a good lighting system to recommend for a 20 gallon high:
I've been keeping DIY co2 planted tanks for a few years now, but most of them have been fairly shallow. With a few exceptions, most of them have been no deeper than 20 g longs. With the plants I typically keep in them (various cultivars of java fern, various mosses and liverworts, sagittaria subulata, Ludwigia, water sprite, etc) I can get by fine with about 2 wpg. However, I'm going to be setting up a 20 g high soon...and I want a little more light.
Do you think I would be happier with a Slimline T5 fixture (does a T5 really put out _that_ much more light than a T8?) or an Aqualight with a 65 watt bulb? Or something else?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
