Internet Withdrawals!

Oh, man. I just moved into my new apartment. No furniture, no TV (don't plan on getting it either), no beer, and NO INTERNET! I have been pacing around aimlessly for the past 3 days like WHAT DO I DO?! It was terrible. But now we haves the precious back.

how did the landlord walk through of the old place go? Did you get charged with anything?

Well, you can go to the library and use their net service, rent a book on fishes that is so hopelessly out of date as to be useless, go window shopping at the LFS....or write a novel of epic proportions on how it is so difficult to live without the net....

(On the other hand I totally feel your pain...we are buying a new house and will be moving in about a month...no internet, no TV, just a bunch of packing and unpacking!)

I moved recently as well and for I net I just bought a wireless card for my desktop (60 bucks)and viola insta-internet. :D it is somewhat "illegal" but so is d/l music and movies off the I net and im SURE we all dont do that.....:rolleyes:

That really isn't illegal or wrong at all, IMO. Someone just left their network open. It's like they placed a bunch of ethernet ports in a 100 yard radius. You just gotta be careful, some people intentionally set up unencrypted networks to capture people's passwords and such so be sure to encrypt everything you send over the network you wouldn't want someone else to see.

haha.. im moving in three days and don't know what I'm going to do with out the internet.. other than unpack and test 9 thousand fish tanks for ammonia spikes.. haha
