A friend is having problems getting his nitrates down. I've got a bottle of TetraAqua NitrateMinus that i used to use on my old freshwater tank. It says on the bottle that it's safe for Saltwater but i don't wanna pass it over until i know for sure that it's ok for him to use in his reef tank.
Could anyone say if it's safe to use or not?

Thanks.
Tony.

I don't know if it is or not but it is only a quick fix. Your friend should find the cause of the problem and fix that!!

Thanks for the info. I'll pass the bottle on. I understand it's not a permanent solution but it'll help while we sort out why his nitrate is so high.

Also a pouch of Bio Spira may help.
