I been reading around and I been reading "live sand" from the lfs is usless and to buy bags of aragonite ( alrady have 1 for my 29 gal tank ). Also what is the ratio ( in american standards :) ) salt to gallons. Thanks

Bagged live sand is barely live and has at most some bacteria in it. You'd be better off buying plain old aragonite sand and seeding it with a cup of sand from other established tanks or just relying on the live rock to help seed the sand.
Salt to gallon ratio... as in mixing directions? For Instant Ocean and Reef Crystals, the directions are pretty much 1/2 cup of salt mix per gallon of water. I end up adding more to get the specific gravity up to 1.026 -- about an extra 1/4 cup for every 4 gallons of sw I'm mixing.
