just had rino whiptails breed anyone know the best first food i was thinking zuchinni and algae wafers but is there something better at this small size or are they like baby BN ?
not sure on the spelling think it is Rineloricaria parva,
also wondered if it is ok to leave parents with fry ?

Check out planetcatfish.com, there's quite likely something posted in the forums. (I'd suggest a search before posting questions. quicker info that way.)

did do a search (on here ) and found nothing thought someone may have bred them before or it might raise debate on the issue thought that was what a forum is about secondly im a member on here not on planetcatfish or pleco fanatics as somone else suggested whats the point of being on here as a member if you ask all the questions on other forums or do we just ask the easy ones on here and go elsewhere for the other ones pls clarify as id hate to offend !

that's exactly what happens. Not to offend, either, but this forum is usually good for simpler questions and others are better for more specialized info. I go to cichlidforum, aquaticplantcentral, and planetcatfish regularly, to get info and share ideas about my various tanks. This site is great, too, but the others are sometimes better.

That said, many folks have spawned whiptails (there are dozens of species) so planetcatfish should have an account somewhere. I would imagine you'd feed the babies like BN's, but maybe add a bit more meat. Having algae around will certainly help. Congrats on the babies!
