If you're the creative type, you could cut out colorful pictures from National Geographic Magazine, tape them together and make that your background. I find it lots of fun and makes the tank look much more interesting than a cheesy background you might buy at a pet store.

Nice tanks !

I would do a plain blue or black background - I made mine from cardboard artists mounting boards - just get the right size (I had to stick a couple together, overlapping to hide the join) and prop it behind the tank. Trim the top off if necessary. Nice thing is that if the cardboard is heavy duty enough it's rigid, so that it'll just stand there against the tank (doesn't have to be stuck on) and, obviously, easy to change if you have a change of mind.

best plant i ever bought its enormous and its very soft for a fake plant. Its made by Fancy Plants Giants Adiantum (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=12124&N=2004+113149+2146961023) is the type it is.
