betta tank lighting...

Anotrher question about betta tank! Does it need lighting? I read somewhere that they don't really need lighting... I am not planning on doing the little cup environment for my betta.. who I will be adopting today... :)

Ambient room light is your best bet, as I have never seen fluorescent fixtures for so small a tank, and built-in incandescent lighting will overheat the tank in no time.
