Hey guys,

I just bought some timers and here's my deal:

I have the Current Nova Extreme t5 setup which has:
4 LED Moonlights (on one power cord)
2 10k T5 Bulbs (on another power cord)
2 Blue T5 bulbs (on another power cord)
Fan (on another power cord

Here's my proposition, but I wanted to run it by you guys first, just to make sure someone doesn't have a better idea.

I'm going to plug the LEDs in full-time. I don't see any reason why they should be turned off during the day.

I'm going to run the fan and the blue lights on one timer

I'm going to run the 10k bulbs on another timer.

I'm thinking that I'll make the blue/fan on from 10-7

I'm thinking that the 10k bulbs can come on from 11-6

Any thoughts? Adjustments? Things I just plain missed?

THANKS!

I'm trying to take the human error out of the equation with the lighting.

Hi there..No, i dont see any problems with your lighting plan at all..The only thing to think about, i know its minimal, but the moonlights running 24/7....i would get these on a time to save power and increase life....

Just my thoughts on the matter

Roger that. Well, they're just little LEDs, so I figure they can't use much power and they probably have a really long life, and figured a timer was $10 and the savings probably wouldn't be worth while.

But, something to think about in the future, if i find a good deal on another timer.

Do most people run the blues all day with the 10k's? I have been, just not sure if that's the norm.

THANKS!

I have the same exact lights and I'm running the same exact lighting plan.
I put the LED's on all day because I don't have another timed outlet (the plug is too big) to put it in.

I'm a little upset though. When I got it one of my 10K daylights was busted so I called drsfostersmithjohnsonjones.com and told them.

I just got the replacement bulb today. It's a 6500k light. They sent me a weaker light!!

Looks like a fine plan to me!!

But at the 4 watts that the LED's would put out the power difference would be less than turning on a NO bulb!!
