66 Gallon Hagen Tank

I saw a 66 gallon hagen tank with stand and hood a few days ago and am strongly considering buying it. The tank measures 48x16x20. I was thinking of keeping a GT in it, what else should I stock it with? If not the GT, what SA/CA cichlids should I add? Also I was wondering what would be a good filtration setup for the tank? I was thinking of an AC 500 and an emp 280. Thanks

I think the filtration you are planning should work fine.

possibly convicts. i bought my ac500 from petco for dirt cheap. it was on sale, not sure how long it was on sale, but with shipping and handling i paid about 36 bucks, it sells for about 75 at my lfs :) anyways its a great filter. i use it with another cheap hob that filters about 300 gph and its in a 75 gallon tank with an oscar, the water is very clean :)

I have one of those tanks. I keep a jack dempsey, a blue gourami and a common pleco in mine. For filtration I use an aquaclear 500.
