My German isn't as good as anyone's used to be. Like I said, I'll try hard in the morning if you still need answers...I was sorta kidding in sending the German link, but I figured that, if you could read it and glean some useful information, hey, works for me! Females display a blueish/black splotch on the front half of the dorsal fin; males of the same brood will often be much larger even as juveniles.

So the dorsal coloring will be similar to a festae for sexing?

Males will have a deeper red color on there throat. They will also be larger and deeper bodied then females of similer maturity. Some males will display better color and a stronger spot patttern. In breeding color the female will become darker and will show a stripe pattern. Fully mature male may also develope a nuchal hump which will give there head a larger more power look. Finally male for the most part tend to be far more aggressive. So if your looking at a tank full of juveniles then the more aggressive ones will usually be males.
