I just purchased two yelow lab cichlids for my planted community, they don't seem to be causing any trouble but I've heard that they are very agressive. Will they be ok in my tank. The tank is a 30 gallon, and the fish include tiger barbs, loaches, and corys.:look:

so you have the labs in a separate tank. not the one that is listed in your siggy. labs are peaceful compared to other cichlids but non cichlid fish they would be considered very aggresive.

Yellow labs are discribed as semi agressive, ours don't seem to bother any other fish, {SIG} :dance2: they may become somewhat agressive during spawning...

In a 30 Gallon the labs will act more agressive due to territorial issues. There are a couple things wrong with your stock. First the labs will eat the corys..Not good for the labs. Second they should be kept in groups not just two. Third one fish is gonna lack its ideal envroment. Meaning one is gonna have ideal water requirements while the other suffers.
