will I still need co2 if I got a long tank instead of a tall tank ?

I was thinking of getting a 20 long, and putting on two lights this fall. if I have good light and a long tank instead of a tall tank like I have now will my plants do better and with out co2?

LOL!~ sorry I forgot to add specs. just some good lowe light plants etc. and watts? not sure, just 2 18 watt bulbs I guess.

not much need for co2 there. also look into the power compact screw in bulbs that home depot and walmart has also.
