Several of you were kind enough to post helpful links regarding stocking my tank. Here's what I was thinking and tell me if you see any issues.

1 Male betta ( I know this is iffy depending on the temperment of individuals)
4 to 5 Schwartz Cories
5 Oto's
6 Cardinal Tetras
a few Mollies and/or Platies to round it out. (How many would work here?)

Filter will be a magnum 350 cannister (pro with bio wheels) and a Whisper 70 that came with the tank. I plan to plant this tank as well.

get four or so platies and greatly increase the school of cardinals and schartz's corydoras.

you could fit a big school of rummynose tetras or something and a couple centerpiece fish. Thats pretty understocked what you have now.

You could probably put 4 mollies and 4 platies in the tank with everyone else (1male,3female), and still be somewhat understocked, if I calculated correctly. Just so you know, if you put the cories/otos in the tank without waiting about half a year, you should supplement their diets with wafers or the like, as there won't be enough algae for them to eat.

Thanks. I screwed up my first tank badly so I was thinking a light load. The oto's I have now LOVE spinach. Gotta leave in the tank overnight before they go for it though.

I was also thinking of adding some Emperor or Black Neon tetras.
