Hornwort has been booted

I just ripped the hornwort out of my tank, It was shedding all over the place. Needles everywhere and my tank was filthy. Not to mention I was having to trim the stupid thing every single day because it grows like a weed.

Hornwort = Not recommended !!

i had mine do that when i switched the gravel. it almost died but it grew back.

Yeah, I would think when it drops it's needles that much, somethings wrong with it.

Guess its time to take mine out too they fell first day. then never grew back looks like a bunch of dead grass.

Well, I don't know , it was still green and looked healthy, it just sheds alot also. Maybe that's just the way they are????

ANother thing that leads me to believe it was ok is because it was growing and growing and growing.... it was like Jack's freakin Beanstalk. I had to trim it everyday.

I have no clue, all I know is I'm done with it. It's an annoying plant.

mine shed horribly the first day i had it, but since, its been growing like mad. i finally had to trim it down tonight so it didn't block out th elight for everything else. i just let it float right now. still haven't decided what to do with it, but for now it gets to stay.

mine never did well in the tank..cabomba finally is starting to grow..takes some plants awhile to acclimate to the tank conditions.

Mine grows like a weed and is really bushy. I just use it to cover the heater. I never had a problem with the leaves falling off.
