I want to make some DIY lighting for my 55 gallon. I'm planning on growing plants so I want about 4 wpg. What I'm need is a shopping list and the cost. Thanks for any help.

well your best bet would be ahsupply.com retro kits. you can also try shop lights. i have a array of them in my 120. i used T8 day light deluxe bulbs. 4wpg is a lot for a planted tank. are you going to be adding co2 and ferts?
