Due to certain reasons I will be moving to a new location. It isn't very far from where I live now, but my question is: How do I transport my 30gal. tank? I have no fish, but 37lbs of LR with sand and a few crabs/hermits/snails. So how would I go about moving my tank without damaging or hurting and of the little creatures or the tank itself?

I would throw the rock and water in one rubbermade, snail and crabs in another little one and the sand in a third, move the tanks and stuff last then set it up first, you'll be fine.

The rubbermaid method works for me. Also, make sure that the places you are moving the tank to is ready. You don't want delays in getting the tank back up and going. One last tip, don't be in a hurry, shattering a tank, lights, etc will most likely delay your tank getting back up quickly. I picked up 24 Gallon rubbermaid containers from the Home Depot for like 12$ a few weeks ago.

Good luck.
