:help:I made diy for bristle worms made with plastic container and food in it and fill it with water and it floats how do I kept it from floating or is there another diy I can make will try anything since the nearest pet store is a long way off thanks

Why catch them, they are one of the best cleaners you have!!

I had read that they are good and read that they are bad not sure which way to go I don't want them to eat my fish or my watchman goby since he doesn't move around alot or my anemones , the one that I seen is about 4" long not sure how many more I have

Leave them You have NOTHING to worry about, unless they are ginormus mongoloid bristles like 8 inches plus, then toss em cause they are to large and freaky looking.

they can be bad in large commodities but a healthy community is great for the aquarium. if u wan keep them in check get a sixline wrasse they will eat some of the small ones and keep them in safe numbers.

many people mistake the typical bristle worm with Pherecardia striata worms (Fireworms)... bristle worms are good detrius eaters fireworms can actually hurt you...

One of the main differences between bristle and fireworms is their colour..if its bright red, then there is more of a chance its going to be a fire worm...Here is two pictures, so people can see the difference better for clarity purposes.... 1) Bristle Worm.... 2) Fireworm

yeah, I don't think its too much to worry about.
I noticed half red and half black worms coming out of my tonga branch today. They are too small for pictures. but they look alot like the bristle worms only they have nice colors. hope they aren't bad. they are like an inch.
