When i got these fish a month ago the LFS had 1 Oscar in a Parrot Cichlid tank. It seemed outta place since they had 2 whole tanks with Oscars in them. I asked why it was in there and she said it wasnt geting along with other oscars but acted nice with the parrot fish. Seemed wierd to me but i watched him swim around the tank with 2 parrot fish like they were best friends so i got all 3. ITs been a month now they have grown about an inch an half allready. Its like the Oscar is the school leader the parrot fish follow him everywhere they hang out together all the time. Is it wierd for an Oscar to be buddy buddy with 2 parrot fish. Ive had Oscars before but they only swam and hid with other oscars They would chase everything else away.
