Festivums Spawned!

Got home from work and found out that my Festivums spawned!!!:D

Didn't expect it, so am quite suprised. The downside is that my beautiful anglefish is getting pushed around a little, but other than a few scrapes is doing O.K.

Very cool! We expect pix if you can get them, you know, right? J/K, but I wouldn't find seeing some baby Festivum pix!

If you have another tank, your angel might be better off there, as the Festivum aggression may not stop until all the fry are gone.

Haven't got a good camera, so don't hold out for any decent pics...sorry:(

I don't have another tank for the angel, I'm hoping that he can stick it out. He use to be the king of the tank, but all that has changed.

Sell the spawn and get a good camera for the next one, then. Geesh! I am, of course, just kidding.

How much cover is there for the Angel? I think that it would do okay if you have some available cover well away from the Festivums.

King of the Tank is an award that sure changes quickly when Cichlid spawning is involved, eh?

The angel occasionally cruises the upper portions of the tank, but spends most of his tim hiding be a thick patch of jungle val. There is not a lot of chasing going on right now. I think boundaries have been established.
