Ok as stated yesterday I am getting a 30 gallon aquarium tommorow (YAY) I intend to put my adult mollies into it after it has completely cycled, to cycle I will use a few of my current adult mollies. I am looking at this to use as the gravel http://www.mops.ca/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/skus/rs/RSCS-00150.asp?L+scstore+pngj3213ffa99ea9+1177033316 is this ok for a bracktish tank or is it for salt water only? Our water has a ph of 8.4 naturally if that helps any.

I am also looking at this filter http://www.mops.ca/cgibin/SoftCart....00B.asp?L+scstore+pngj3213ffa99ea9+1177034051 but wonder if the current would be to strong for a 30 gallon with mollies.

I am trying to find a heater and really hate the ones that are submersable, I don't like the idea of anything with an electrical cord going into water and I know i would never sleep at night from worrying. This one seems to be ok what do you think? http://www.mops.ca/cgi-bin/SoftCart...402.asp?L+scstore+pngj3213ffa99ea9+1177033553

I had intentions on setting it up right away but due to finacial issues will not be able to for another 2 weeks. I need to get the plants (plastic) and stuff before I am ready to set this up fully, not to mention finding a spot in my 800 sq ft house to put this.

Any guidance you can provide would be great.

I second the visi-therm heater I have two for both my tanks they seem to work great and they blend in nice .

You can print the online price from Petsmart.com and bring it to the store and save a bunch.

Id recommend doin that for a filter also I think the emperor 280 35.00 with the online ad would be good for a 30g
