Livebearers in the Planted Tank

So I'm selling my 24g Nano Cube to a friend's mom...she really wants a heavily planted tank...which was what I had it before i tore it down, but sh also wants guppies, but i know that guppies like salt in the H20 and plants do not. How well would this combo work out? We're going this weekend to an LFS to pick up substrate and plants before fish go in...i'm going to seed her filter with some media from one of my established tanks. Any comments would be greatly appreciated

just dont add the salt. i have guppies in my planted tank doing fine.

I agree! I have about 20 guppies plus fry in my planted aquarium. They are fine without salt!

FW fish do not need salt.
