Hi, I'm Ted and I live in SW Florida.
I have a beautiful 10 gal. freshwater tetra tank with red ludwigia and anacharis, thriving with 30 watts total light, but, most of the time they're only getting 15 watts. The ludwigia is doing so well that they're outgrowing the tank by curling downward from the surface and back up. I'd like to know what I should do. Either cut the tops and leave the bases anchored or remove the bases and re-anchor the ends. I'm using basic pea-sized aquarium gravel. I know they re-root easily, but, they look so great as long as they are. Will they do better if I cut them or should I leave them alone?
