I have a 29 gallon tank that i am not using and i also have some pc lights. There are four bulbs at 55 watts per bulb. I would set them up as 3 10k and 1 actinic. Would this be enough for sps corals. Thanks

i wouldnt do it. some owuld say you can keep montis with good water up high, but youwouldnt have too good color or growth, and you wouldnt be anble to keep anything down lower. i personaly would get a MH.
good luck

im agreeing with fishiness here...not good idea. Mh is the way to go first or some great T-5s

Well i might put a 250 w mh over a 29, i am wanting to have some acopora and i want to keep it at a constant high but safe level of calcium. I would use tech cb. Or does anyone else have any suggestions on what lighting or calcium i should use.
