Basically I have no budget for this gear, just a starving college student trying to improve his setup, so anything cheap or free would be great, but if you have something laying around don't hesitate to send me a PM, I might be able to scrape up the cash. I thought I would ask here before I go spend way more money buying at the LFS/local welding supply place. The following is a list of what I am looking for:

UV Sterilizer (38 gallon tank, so anything from 5 - 15 Watts would be great)
10# CO2 Bottle (Probably end up getting that here anyways, expensive to ship I'm sure)
Double Gauge Regulator
Needle Valve
Solenoid, pH Monitor/CO2 Controller (Can live without this as they seem to be very pricey)
Reactor (Currently planning to build my own, but would take one if somebody has one laying around)

If this list is missing anything for a good setup please let me know as this is all I can remember off the top of my head from all my research.

Thanks

- Kevin

Take your time and keep looking. It took me 4 weeks to find everything from different people. I ended up with a co2 tank, monitor, regulator, needle valve, selinoid, and reactor for about $150. The reactor was a diy though, but it works great look at http://www.aquaticscape.com/articles/co2reactor.htm
good luck

Thanks. Nice design for the reactor. I was planning something along those lines, but that gives me a nice template to work from.

bump. Nobody can help a newbie out? I'm really trying to save that $90 for a new regulator, needle valve, solenoid, or at least give the money to somebody who has old equipment laying around.

Last try. If nobody has anything I guess I'll order gear tomorrow

I'm a poor student too, but after a couple years of looking I found some stuff used!
