Zebra Plecos L-46

I really love zebra plecos. I really would like to get one or two for my new 46g. The problem is that I can't find any for sale or any breeders (except for aquabid, where it's nearly $5000 for 10).

Does anyone know where I can find some of these fish for sale?

lowest price i found was 1000 dollars for 8.

id like a few myself. i was told by a lfs owner to wait it out. someday..they will be on the market again. with all the spawning theyre doing it probably wont take that long. i found some for $200 each for 1.5 inch juvies though.

ok i saw that also. those prices are crazy no way at all.

ok here is the problem. a lot of the breeders only want to sell to people who are looking to breed them since they are no longer being exported.

TwoTankAmin breeds them but only sells them in lots of 5-8. $150 for each one to be shipped. this was the case last time i talked to him about them. maybe you can pm him and ask him. he might see this and post in here.

i know a couple other breeders but they have long waiting lists.

Yeah they are awsome fish but they are so hard to breed and demands are high for them so the price is high.

Ultimately I would want to breed these fine fish. But I cannot afford to buy tons all at once. I just don't know where to look or who to talk to. www.zebrapleco.com has been no help at all.

Maybe I will PM that guy you mentioned, MGamer, thanks for the tip.
