Ok freshwater it was for a while (2 years) now I want more color and more fish, and I turn to saltwater. I had it set up but my biggest mistake was setting up a 29 gal when I still hadn't fully finish setting up my 55 gallon. So I tore it down. And my mom asked me if I wanted to convert it into a SW tank. My big question is what else do I need to get it up and running. Got a Penguin 170 filter, do I need more filtration since it will be SW, and do I need a skimmer ? Also I hear setting up a bigger tank will be easier to keep.
