Hi:) Just wondering if anyone knows much about clown killifish. Can't seem to find much info on them. I wanted to add some to my tank but not sure if they would be okay with Silvertip Tetra's and alkaline water? Thankyou very much for any help.

The thing about researching killifish is that they are often called by their scientific name. See if you can find that out, then research should be much easier. :)

PH anywhere between 6.0 and 7.5 is what they prefer.

But I'm sure they'd be fine with the tertas as far as compatibility.

Thanks, that helped Aplocheilus annulatus! I don't know my water is weird, its very soft but a high PH of around 8.4 and high buffering capacity and I've tried everthing to bring it down to no avail. But I've had a Betta, cories and the tetras for over a year with no deaths they must like it.
