OOO...Im a lurker from the FW section and I know a good way for us to get rid of Ich is salt and higher temps...

How do you treat in a reef without copper?

Yeah, I was worried about that.

I'm not sure how to proceed, honestly. I've heard a lot of different ideas, but right now the only additional tank I have is a 10 g. I guess I could use that, but just not sure yet.

Like, do I just remove the tang, or do all the fish come out of the main tank? I don't really want to mess up my coral, but I don't want all my fish to get diseased and die, too.

Sigh. What a bummer.

I woulndt worry abot it saltwater ich is kinda different. it hard to explain.. but if your really worried than just give it a brackish/fresh water dip. (just like dipping freshwater fish in saltwater) how long has it had ich? Usually saltwater ich is there for a day or two at most and it is gone. (thats what I have noticed.)

He looks a little better today. Their food is getting super garliced from now till...well maybe forever...lol.

I'll hope for the best. I was going to try and catch him and freshy dip him, but that didn't happen...they saw the net and dissapeared. ;)

Ah, I just gave up. I'm going to just garlic the crap out of their food and hope for the best for a few more days...see how that works out. They all look healthy as anything, eat like crazy, and swim contsantly, sooo...
