I have quite a bit of brown algae growing on the back and sides of my tank. Will otto's take care of this. I thought I heard they would but I couldn't remember. Thanks!

Yup. Then you'll need to keep them fed with greens...

yes otos are the best for brown algae.When all teh algae is gone thoguh you will have to feed them like any other fish.

Yep. I agree with the above info, and, in retrospect, I think one of my three Otos died because the LFS owner told me not to supplementally feed them as they would "lose their focus on their job." Hmm...I think that losing focus is impossible as long as you don't grossly overfeed them.

I keep Oto's in 3 of my tanks. They do a GREAT job on brown algae. I also supplement them with blanch cucumbers. I would suggest them.
