Well I'm back from my vacation and first thing on my to do list was get fish for my tank! It's been running almost 2 months now with 5 snail and 5 crabs in it for the last 3 weeks. Now I'm happy to say we've added a PJ Cardinal, a cleaner shrimp, 5 more snails and one TEENY TINY blue neon goby. My question is simple, as stated in the title - is there a right time of day to feed the fish? I fed them once in the morning yesterday. I was thinking about switching it to once at night, would that be ok? Is once daily sufficient? Thanks!

Its better to try to get into a routine with the fish. The fish will develop a biological clock and soon learn when feeding time is. This is better so all the fish are out to eat. I feed my fish once a day usually at night and the fish do perfectly fine. However it really is preference on when you feed the fish, just try to choose a time when you can do that continuously.

just thought id ad it. fish naturally only get small bits of food over the course of the day in nature and have to exert much energy to get it. some argue that fish should get about 3-4 meals a day that are tiny. however what matters is that your fish are nice and filled out if you achieve that then ur fine. only exceptions are grazers like tangs that need constant food to do best.

That what I do. Especially when you get more fish its always fun to see the "feeding freezy" I in addition to 2X per day I Leave a slice of algae sheet for my clowns before I go to bed and by the time I wake up its always gone.
