Yesterday was a great day for my fish tank. I got everything I have ordered recently. I received a new 192W PC 50/50 light. I have to make a custom bracket to hold my 96W with the 192. For now I just have the 192W on the tank. I received my Hydor Koralia #3 water pump. It works beautifully. I also got 40lbs of base rock and 20lbs of live rock to add to my 14 lbs of live rock.

Currently the tank inhabitants are:
1 Maroon Clown
1 Four Striped Damsel
1 Blue Damsel
1 Yellow Tailed Blue Damsel
1 Damsel that I have no idea what it is
1 Yellow Fin Damsel
1 Turbo Snail
1 Peppermint Shrimp (although I can't find him right now :()

The damsels will be leaving the tank and some of them will be going back to my nano when I move in August. They get along with my clown pretty well.

I will be adding the other inhabitants after the move. I will also not be adding any corals and such until after the move.

Also, while in Petco for something they had 2 Guinea Pigs for adoption. I picked them up. One is obese, but very cute. Anyways...I need to stop going to pet stores. Between my girlfriend and I we have 5 fish tanks and 4 guinea pigs.

It is all looking really nice......

How long has the tank actually been up and running mate? I.E when did you start the cycle off...

It may be a bit of a negative comment but i prefer to up front with advice....but i think you should get all them damsels out now mate..the maroon is not going to be able to much peace with 5 territorial damsels in there....

The tank has been running about a week. However, most of the damsels were in my 12g. All the sand, water, and live rock from the 12g is now in this tank. I have been watching the parameters pretty closely and everything is doing very well. The damsels as of right now are pretty friendly. They each have their cave picked out. I am going to have to disassemble the live rock when I move in August, and after that the damsels will not be in that tank again. They are there now because I am not going to get any of my expensive fish or less hardy fish until after the move. The cycle should be ok. I have been monitoring it. As far as the cycle is concerned, the same rock and sand is with the same fish. Add more sand and much more rock and a maroon clown and here we are.
