the common plec and plants?

I have heard mixed reviews on this so I figured I'd start a thread asking for other AC members for their expierance with large common plecos and java fern and moss.Thanx in advance for any help, I am setting up my 150 gallon this weekend and would love my plec to be in there , he will be well fed living with 2 12"oscars a 10"jag and 2 5" tinfoils.:huh:

My Plecs never bothered my plants but because they are so big they tended to uproot a lot of them. I got rid of them only because I got tired of constantly replanting.

Mine don't bother the plants much....I have a bannana plant that they bat around like a hockey puck, but that's about it...
