Hi, i'm planning on building an aquarium, roughly a 75g...give or take a few gallons here and a few inches there...basically what i need to know is everything...i read the DIY tank building thing...that had the basics of making a small tank but what do i have to do for a large aquarium? How do i secure a support for the center to prevent bowing? How thick does the glass need to be? And somewhat off topic but not really...What is the minimum height the tank can be for oscars?

Thanks,
-Dustin

There are many opinions on the questions you pose. Start with a google search on tank building and you will get almost unlimited and sometimes very conflicting input.

Are you going to build all glass or plywood and glass? Building all glass does not save you any money up to about 90 gallons and if you are going to build your own I would suggest building as big as you can to make it cost effective.
