Has anyone kept Mural goby, Valenciennea muralis. There is not a lot of information online on this species. I am particularly interested in the feeding habbits of this species. I am a little concerned that their sand siffting habbits may not allow me to quarantine them in a bare tank unless they can take sinking crushed food which the LFS claims it does.

All sand sifting gobies are **** hard to keep alive unless you have a very big, biologically active sandbed with lots of pods and worms. Don't count on these gobies accepting pellet or sinking foods as it can be hit or miss.

Thank you, I spoke with someone who had lots of experience with keeping gobies and his response was pretty much what you said. I think my 55g would struggly to support a fully grown pair.

So they are off my list for the moment
