Remove the undulate while you can. You will have NO warning when it goes ballistic - you just get up one morning and your previously passive undulate will have killed every other fish and nibbled the condy to the brink. I'm sure that Mono can back me up on this as she has kept undulates before as well...nasty, nasty fish.

Why does it not surprise me that you grow shrooms? :) J/K

nice pics. I have a question though. I have a condy anenome that has about tripled in size in past year, BUT he has also changed color dramatically the past few months. He looked similar to the pics shown here at first (w/o pink tips though) but now he is a very dark reddish brown and at times with green tips. Is this normal, or do I not know what anenome I own.....

my anemone hasn't changed in color that much at all. I've head many say that the coloration will fade. Mine must have been dyed fairly well....actually i couldn't really tell ya why....lol

I do agree with you Boogie. I warned him earlier about it. I have an undulate currently with a puff, some Silver Scats, and a Halfmoon Trigg (toughest trigger I've had to date-nasty little thing!). On Friday I will be moving him (Undulate) to his own little personal 46 gallon tank with my nastiest damsel who I don't really care much about. I have never seen a damsel attack fish 4 times it size like this guy does. He doesn't care if it is a puffer or Trigger or whatever. My undulate doesn't tolerate fish giving him crap. Should be an interesting match! Also that Niger looks pretty big. I have two, one that I bought as a tiny one inch juvie the other one bought as a 3 incher. Bought the 1 incher in August, lived in my 55 till August and grew maybe about a half an inch. In January moved him to my 209G tank with the other Niger and now the little guy is approaching 5 inches. He took off in growth. The other Niger is about 6-7" and bought this guy in Jan! Just warning ya, they grow fast. I have a Queen that has already doubled in size. Also in my 209 I have the Queen, Clown, Nigers, and Huma. The nastiest fish in the tank is the small Niger. The most peaceful; the Queen!
Happy Day! Finally hit 1000 posts! Sorry, back to the topic!

more the reason why i started an agressive tank.....
When there to big...they will go....
If the undulate snaps....hey, now he's got his own tank...lol

nature is a beautiful thing...

honestly my undulate is a big baby....he won't even eat if some one is to close...and if he does grab some clams or scallops he runs it into his cave. I forget he even in there sometimes....

thanks for the warning guys....i do understand the risk i am taking...

Your tank, your risk. But, you've been warned on this one several times now...don't get upset when the inevitable occurs.

Well just an update for those who had no faith....

They are all alive and no casualties... No sudden murders and all are living in harmony.

Wrasse, Tang, Niger, Maroon Clown and condy are all a little bigger, but the undulated is now , by far, the smallest.

Its been how long?:D
