Should there be constantly nori in my tank? As soon as I put in the about 2x3" piece they eat it all very quickly.

Well to be honest I only add a 2"X3" piece of nori about once or twice a week and my fish are fat and healthy. Remember the more your fish eat the more they umm, poop. This waste will soon turn into ammonia which isnt good for the tank. So needless to say I wouldnt feed them nori every day, they should be fine with about once or twice a week since they should be able to find something to eat on the Live Rock.

for algae eating fish they should get feed it at least every other day but on clips so it doesnt blow around and get stuck to rot somewhere. i personally feed my tangs algae everyday because in nature they constantly feed on algae throughout the day.

I do too because the Tangs are constant grazers.
rockethippo- I just looked at your sig. What fish is eating most of the nori, the Foxface? Also, once in a while I think my fish eat it all but sometimes they literally tear it off the clip and I find large fragments around the tank. I think they like to watch it blow around so they can chase it. Either that, or they like to watch me chase it to get it out.

The foxface and the larger clown will play tug-of-war with it. The smaller clown and damsel eat pieces that come off.

LOl is my foxface smart? He dragged the seaweed to the intake of the powerhead so it's stuck on the powerhead. Now the larger clown doesn't attempt to get it and the foxface just bites pieces stuck to the intake.

One of my emerald crabs grabbed the clip from the bottom of the tank and tried to pull it into a rock cave he favors.
