This is the discussion thread for the MAY photo of the month competition. Now open for entries. Submit to the usual address, which is POTM@AQUARIACENTRAL.COM ...

Just as starting footnote from last months competition. There was some absolutly stunning pictures entered into the competition as you have seen from the poll, and i just want to personally thank each and everyone who took the time and effort to give this an excellent launch..
I shall look forward to recieving more pictures for this month.

Yes, if you can write the subject line something like " MAY POTM ( JOE BLOGGS )", that would be fine..

I'm just wondering if there will be a permanent sticky with monthly updated winners of the TOTM and POTM? Will the winners' names be revealed after the polls have closed, or just the picture? If so, I think it would be cool to have their user name green or something (like the moderators are red) for the month until the next month's is chosen. Just an idea...

Yes, the name will be release as soon as a winner is decided by the poll..

Yes, i shall keep a running sticky for the winners, updated monthly....
There will be some form of recognition on the winners name for the month, yes..

Does that mean "each month" or for the entire period of the contest?
I believe in the rules it's one entry per person per month...unless you win, then you can't contribute for 3 months to let others have a chance.

Submissions for April, but, the comp has run in May....So, all submissions for May, are available for voting in June POTM....

Competition Rules have been updated
The winning photo of the previous POTM contest winner will be used on the followng months "Enter" banner, and a random photo from the previous months winners will be used on the banner for the "Vote". By entering your picture into the competition, you are accepting that your picture will be used without Aquaria Central Staff asking for your permission. The photograph will NOT be used outside of Aquaria Central.

This comp is Photo if the Month, i dont recieve Tank of the Month pictures. If you send Dorkfish a Personal message on here and ask him if he has recieved it....

Winner of a POTM contest will not be eligible to enter another Photo of the Month Contest for the next three months, to ensure fairness and opportunity for other participants to win.
