More glass catfish! They do best in a school, and another 3 or 4 (with good filtration) would look cool once they grew out of their shyness.

if you can get your ph up a little, some shellies.

I'd actually leave the shellie-mania out of this one...the glass cat needs a little lower pH and really does like to be kept in schools.

RENEGADE, shellies are not for your tank: but they are shell-dwelling Tanganyikan cichlids. They live in very alkaline water. I will give you the standard page of links, as you could easily set up another tank for them, but I will not condone putting them in the tank with the Glass Cats.

(That one is actually just interesting, but it gives you an idea of the dynamics of social interaction between the shellies.)

(This is just an all-around good site with regard to Tanganyikan Cichlids...it's worth a read!)

(Again, a site with many good articles within it about your shellies.)

south american bumblebee cat would help clean up the bottom but you wouldnt see it much [nocturnal]. i also have a white cheeked goby thats pretty cute when he's out, but he also hides under stuff when he can. i have a cherry barb that isnt as bad as a tiger for fin nipping and is bright red. adds a splash of color.

these are all doing good in my water which is around 7.8 out of the tap.

these also stay 10g sized. i thought a glass cat could get 5-6"
