I took out around 55 gallons of water and replaced it along with a ton of charcoal waited two days and took out 40 gallons, replaced it and the charcoal and added Bio Chem Zorb just to make me feel better..I waited till the next day saturday and added two Chromis, one was sooo little and it showed some distress before it was added to the tank.I did the drip accumulation. I watched and waited and when the three hour mark came and they were still alive I was sooo excited and wonted to post right then and there but decided to wait and make sure first..The little chromie died sometime that night, not sure from stress or from my emerald but the other is still alive and doing fine. But he hides all the time.I went sunday and bought two pj cardinals, three nassarius snails and three turbo snails. They must have been in the tank along time because they are huge and have coraline algea on their shells the turbo's that is..Every thing is alive and doing well.. I am sooo tickled,,now should I worry anymore or do you all think I am good to go now..

you dont tell when you set up the tank - keep taking water parameter measurements and be sure the ammonia and Nitrites are staying at zero - if you see a spike in either one of these your tank is not completely cycled and you should not add more fish.

Thanks..Hey G man..Do you think I should do anything else?I thank you for your advice,,I knew I could count on you all.The only think I can think,,is maybe the plumbing we did caused the problem.
I am glad things are back to normal but I still worry..lol

thanks so much.I really appericate all your help..As long as you say I am ok..I wont worry so much..lol.I will continue testing and do all the normal stuff..Thank you
