Recently joined the site and look forward to learning more! I got my first baby - Big Bird - in Nov 2006 when I realized my life wouldn't be fair for having a puppy. but ever since our first fight when Big Bird flared at me and I was gracious enough to forgive him - I was hooked! I didn't realize fish had such personalities...or that those personalities could hurt your feelings.:sad: I give and I give...
Now I have a 12 gallon tank with a couple of female bettas and white cloud mountain minnows! Oh and of course the king of the house, Big Bird, in a private 3 gallon suite. However, if he keeps swiftly rejecting me , I will be forced to buy his love with a bigger house. (by now he realizes I am bluffing when I flush the toilet and look at him pointedly, so that's not going to work)
I love all of my babies but there's always room at my place for more crusty, mean, rotten, fishies !
