The Rotundi is growing sideways in my new 20g (the tank's been up for about 2 weeks). I'm getting exceptional growth (new shoots everywhere) but it's growing sideways and across the substrate; so it looks like a bush sloping to the right. D< At first, I thought it was that I had too much light, but I only have 64 watts over my tanks (so.. 3.2 watts? give or take)..

Help? Suggestions? Mad distortions of reality?

Anyone else had this issue with their stem plants? D:

Yea, my rotala does that sometimes. 3.2 watts is quite a bit of light. My rotala would do this most when it reached the surface of the water in my tank. I attributed to it getting closer to the light. I've had a small stem of it try to grow accros the substrate, but I just straightened it back up again. It can grow like that, however, it will just grow more shoots from it's side which will grow upwards and form new plants. Am I rambling on again? Oh well... That's just my experiences with it. Nothing to be worried about.
