I am in the process of doing mine. I had a bunch of stuff delivered over the week and its sitting in my office now. Here is the plan for my sump:

Here is what I plan on doing (I have an existing canister filter I am replacing).

1. Build my sump by putting six baffles into a 15 gallon tank that I got from Petco. My baffles are all 8" tall and 12" wide. I used the clear acrylic instead of glass since that was easier to work with.

2. Install a CPR overflow (bought from Marine Depot) since my tank isn't drilled

3. Install the pump (Rio 2100- Marine Deport) in the sump

4. Connect tube to overflow and run down to sump. Using 3/4" flexible tubing

5. Run tube from the sump to an existing outflow tube that I have in my tank already.

6. Fill refugium area with sand and live rock

7. Fill refugium with salt water

8. Turn on pump

9. Turn on overflow

10. Check sump water levels and monitor sump over weekend
