What would be the right type of fish for a 29 gallon tank? I know certain fish require a bigger tank but if I were to buy a fish that required a bigger tank than 29 gallons would it harm the fish? Just looking for a few suggestions on the types of fish to purchase for a 29 gallon tank.:help:

Am afraid you will not ba able to keep a tang in your tank size...Fish that can go into a 30 Gal was discussed here...It should help you..

a 29 has a different footprint then a 30 tho right.
i would do a dwarf angel and 2-3 firefish.

yea no tang..i did that and regretted it, fish didnt die but tank was way to small. grammas a regreat! firefish, any gobies, clownfish...etc
i didn't mean she should put a tang in a 29 i was just saying that a 30, with a different footprint than a 29, can house different fish than the 30 would.
