hi, can anyone help me on this? ive just been removing some of my live rock in search of my anemone that ive not seen for a few days, but whilst removing some of the rock i came across this, does anyone know what it is, thanks

Looks like a sponge to me..A harmless filter feeder...Will come and go with the nutrient levels..

like i said in other post lol...might be compound colonial tunictaes or a sponge. if its soft and "dry feeling" ist probably sponge. of its soft and slimy most likely tunicates..both are harmless filter feeders though.
