I know I'm gonna get 3 or 5 Blue/Green Chromis' next ... probably as soon as I can get my Trates down to .5 from .20.

i, this is just me talking, would add an eiblis' angel (i got a thing for them lol) whichever you'd prefer a gramma or hawkfish but not both, and either some firefish or scissortail gobies.

It could just be the light or i'm just crazy and don't know what im talking about, but is that clown looking at little too thin?

Nice pictures! I really like the flat pieces of shelf LR and how you set it up with the space in the middle. Did you decide what fish you're adding besides the chromis?

I thought they looked okay. Mine sometimes look thinner than normal when I snap some pictures of them too. Then again they're not really a wide fish to begin with (except some of those HUGE tomato clowns or, better yet, the maroons! :D).

Thanks everyone.

Not sure if the clowns are thin. They've been eating frozen food that i give them but not the pellets. I was told to actually wait 2 days before feeding them, until they got hungry enough to eat the pellets. Is this bad advice?

I'm planning on getting:

a couple cardinals (maybe spotted)
a dwarf angel (not sure which)
a yellow clown goby
a Manderin Dragonet (down the road)

All maybes ... I havn't really decided on any except the Chromis'

Here's a list of Corals I plan on getting:

Green Star Polyps - done
Zoos/Button Polyps - done
Torch Coral - done
Brain Coral - not sure which type yet
Yellow Fiji Leather
Bubble Coral - Pearl most likely
Orange Sun Coral
Blue Stripe Mushroom Coral
Ricordia Mushroom - red/pink
Hammer Coral
Young Finger Leather
More Zoos

hey first off your tank is sweet. I noticed that your heater is very high in the tank. Is it fully submersible? This book i was reading says to put your heater at the bottom because heat rises and it offer more uniform heating. Do you guys agree, or does it make no difference in your experiences?

The only reason it's high like that is because it's the one thing in my tank that comes out ... I use it to heat my water change water, so if it was down low I would have to constantly stick my hand/arm all the way in.

I'm going to upgrade to a titanium heater real soon. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I think I'm gonna go with a Flame Angel ... a friend just said that they are real nice to look at.

Very cool tank.. I like those flat rocks that you found to make those caves... I have been looking at every LPS and in the surrounding areas for rocks along those lines but have not been able to find any...

Looks great. A very nice range of colors in your tank, and you haven't even completed your coral list yet! Good luck rest of the way.

thats a diamond goby.

Is this a 55G tank? Your going to need a bigger tank down the line or have someone that will house a regal tang as it will outgrow this tank. Tank looks solid.

Thanks everyone.. yeah I'm getting a 120gallon in October. Local LFS is having thier one year anniversary sale and they have a 120gal RR with MegaFlow setup going for less than $350 ... I've built the stand for it already and still deciding on the lighting but yeah he'll have a good home soon with plenty of room.... until the next upgrade.
