View Full Version : My angel is sick! Pls see the pic!!
My angel which I've had for a little less than a year has fallen sick. This happened when my tank started leaking from the edges and I had to reduce more than half the water in the tank. All the other fish are doing fine except the angel. I've now isolated it in a quarantine tank. Here's a pic........though not clear. If you see, the dorsal and tail fin is almost gone and there is a big patch on the side (where the flash from the camera is visible). Right now, I have put a few drops of a blue chemical which is supposed to cure fungus, fin rot etc and added some salt into the tank. Is there anything else that I can do?? Thanks!

What size tank was it in?
What and how many of, were the other tank mates?
What are ammonia, pH, nitrite and nitrate readings in the other tank she was in?
What is the exact medicine you used?
It was in a 55 gallon tank along with some tetras, swordtails, mollies, SAE and 4 baby angels. I don't know the name of the medicine, I got it from the LFS. It's blue and says for aquarium use only.

do you have any of the parameters as requested here??
ammonia, nitraites nitrates water change schedule etc are helpful.
